Countdown to Winter Solstice on the 21st of December, the shortest day and longest night of the yea.
Also know as Yule in pagan tradition,
it is a celebration of the "rebirth of the sun" after the longest night of the year.
It is a time for both feasting and reflection, with traditions including lighting bonfires and candles, decorating with evergreens like holly and ivy to symbolize eternal life, and burning a Yule log for warmth and good luck.
